Sexual Assault Multi-Disciplinary Team Counselor

Courtney Cobbs is the Sexual Assault Multi-Disciplinary Team Counselor at RVA’s Northside Office.  Courtney earned her Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2014.  Courtney has worked with adults with serious mental illness, and adolescents and adults interfacing with the child welfare system. She sees her clients through an intersectional and trauma-informed lens. Courtney seeks to help clients heal in a holistic manner; on the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual level. Courtney likes to integrate mindfulness techniques and the embodied healing modality Reiki into her sessions with interested clients. Her desire is that every client is seen and heard as the unique being they are.
