Sexual intimacy, including trust, closeness, sensuality and eroticism, can be complicated by past experiences of sexual violence.

We welcome survivors who want to reclaim their sexuality as a healthy, pleasurable and non-threatening aspect of their lives, relationships and identities. This presentation by Trauma Informed Sex Therapist Asya Brodsky, LCSW, CADC, and following breakout discussion, is open to and inclusive of survivors of sexual violence and their sexual partners of all genders, sexual orientations and preferences. We will explore the impact of cultural constructs around sexuality, coping with triggers during sex and communication with sexual partners about your needs and boundaries.
