Advocacy Volunteer Coordinator


Brittny Blackwood joined RVA in 2018 as the Advocacy Volunteer Coordinator. Brittny earned her Bachelor’s degree from University of Wisconsin – Whitewater and her Master’s in social work from Loyola University Chicago. Before joining RVA, Brittny was a volunteer coordinator for Court Appointed Special Advocates in Wisconsin where she provided training and supervision to volunteer advocates working within the child welfare system. In addition to mentoring volunteers, she has a wide range of professional experience ranging from providing direct case management and therapy services to children and families in the child welfare system to state legislative advocacy.
