Erica Hungerford

Trauma Therapist

Erica Hungerford, LPC, NCC, is a Trauma Therapist at Resilience, dedicated to helping survivors on their path towards healing. Erica started her career in office management and human resources, and found her calling in 2018 – to make a career change and become a therapist, with a focus on sexual health issues (including trauma and how to approach sexual intimacy after assault). She primarily uses CBT, ACT, EMDR, and Feminist therapy techniques to help meet each survivor where they are and works to help them feel empowered and supported on their healing journey. As a queer survivor, Erica has a passion for helping those in the LGBTQ+ community.

Prior to transitioning to the therapy team, Erica was the Office Manager at Resilience from February 2018 through January 2022, with previous experience in various administrative and human resources roles at both nonprofit and for-profit organizations. Before joining Resilience as staff, Erica was a volunteer crisis advocate for Resilience, having completed her 60-hour training in February of 2014. She is an avid board gamer, and proud cat lady.
