Carol Stone, A.M., LSW
Carol Stone, began her “second” career in Social Work, providing pro-bono counseling services to non-profit organizations across Chicago, after receiving her A.M. from The University of Chicago’s SSA program in 2014. Previously, as the founder and President of CJS Consulting Ltd, Carol advised on career development, workforce diversity and customer service improvement. Carol’s long-standing relationship with RVA began when she was originally certified as an RVA medical advocate in 2004, which she renewed in 2015. Carol is also a strong advocate of the arts, serving for many years on the Joffrey Ballet’s Women’s Board and the Joffrey Ballet’s Committee for the Academy of Dance. She and her husband raised two daughters in Lakeview who share their mother’s passion and empathy, serving as on-campus sexual assault peer advocates at Princeton University and the University of Michigan.
